Shop-a-HAUL-ic [5]: Black Friday & Nasty Gal

Hey hey hey

So I'm not really a Black Friday shopper because most of the items that are on sale are big ticket electronics, none of which I need. However I AM a shopper, so I couldn't miss out on an opportunity to see what other things were on sale.

Given that fact that I shop on a regular basis, and I live in a small town where the biggest store is Walmart I only made two stops. Walmart, for beauty and skin products and Target for miscellaneous things.

Thursday I placed an order from Nasty Gal and it was delivered FRIDAY! I was ecstatic, both by the quick delivery and by my clothes.

Hey so I'm working on blogging or trying to blog everyday to keep you connected and to make sure I don't fall off the boat again.

New name for my haul posts...

So I know said I would do a haul a couple posts back, and clearly that didn't happen but I've finally gotten free time to get around to it.

I've decided that the whole process was kind of time consuming so I'm gonna change the format. I'll turn it into a vlog [video blog]. That way I don't have to worry about taking pictures and all that other stuff.

Here's a shot of the dress I mentioned, the "sparkly" one, it's from Express and actually sequenced.

a-HAUL-ic [1]

First ever HAUL post, hope you like my play on words lol.
So this past weekend while home for Spring Break I did a little shopping [VERY little] and picked up some things from one of my FAV stores and a thrift store.
I'm a bargain hunter, so I'm always looking for things on sale. I'm also a shopAHOLIC, so even if i don't need it I'll most likely buy it [sad but true].

Heres what I picked up from the thrift store

Over-sized gray sweater- $1.89

 

Over-sized gray and black sweater- $3.10

Quilted bag- $4.50

For my knitting supplies or traveling

I also stopped at Target and got mostly beauty supplies and other miscellaneous stuff:

I need some more brushes, the ones I have been uses are falling apart. But that's what I get for ordering them off of Ebay. I got two sets:

Sonia Kashuk Limited Edition Gold Mine Brush set

Already started using them :)

Maybelline Dream Liquid mousse and SuperStay Makeup [both in Caramel]

I bought two of each, they were on sale!

Never put on falsies before, so I got a cheap pair to try out, wish me luck!

On to apparel, I picked up a few other things from Target. One of the things I LOVE about the one in my home town is that I can always find great deals and sales.

I think it's some sort of animal print. I like the color gradient.

That's all of it, lol. I try not to buy the whole store when I go. Eveything was under $10 excluding the brush sets, but those were needed so I "splurged".

So finally, after having had a FULL basket this whole summer on forever21.com I actually ordered some of the stuff I wanted. I’d waited so long that a lot of the stuff that was originally there went out of stock :( but I totally love what I got. I already have a lot of clothes and as I’m getting older, I want to acquire clothes that will reflect that maturity [for the most part anyway, because I LOVE sneakers and tees]. I also want things that will work with items I already have and that are still MY style.

Basically I LOVE Forever 21.

What can I say, if these don’t make my butt bigger then I don’t know what will [my butts not all that small]- $17.80

I do think he’s lovely, and HOT, I’d DEFINALTY baROCK Obama’s world (LMAO I’m a mess)- $19.00

That’s not bad compared to what it started out as at the beginning of summer [over $400!].

To bad that’s not all the shopping I'll be doing…still need to order those Creative Recs [below]!!!

And I WANT these next…

Mmm…off to bed. Shop till I drop! And I have another day of apartment shopping with my Mom to look forward to tomorrow. YAY!

Retail Therapy works wonders, even if you don’t have any problems at the moment.
