I'm sure most of us have an mp3 player if not an iPod (whatever generation) or even a smart phone. So that means you're at least familar with Pandora.
Pandora is great and often has great picks depending on the station you created. But I'm also sure that the opposite is true. For example I'll be in my "Female R&B station" and a song that isn't R&B or even sung by a female plays or they play the same song 3 times in 2 hours. Very frutrating.
But recently, and thanks to my fab BF MicRNS (Blogs- Circle of Squares, MicRNS & YouTube, Music) I was introduced to Spotify. It's kind of the like iTunes and Pandora combined, although closer to Napster, Zune, Rhapsody etc but without the monthly fees.
You can search for an artist, a song, an album a genre etc and you will get exactly that. You can play the music for however long you want. It's fantastic!
I defininetly recommend checking it out here at http://www.spotify.com/us/.
Giveaway Q: If you use Spotify already let me know how you're liking it and what you usally listen to. Any recommendations? Comment and and share this post. :)
SN: Check out Circle of Squares blog, they touch on a lot of interesting topics.
