OOTD: Tribal Pink

As the weather gets warmer the colors get brighter. My wardrobe is no different. I paired this over-sized geometric/tribal sweater with these HOT PINK pants. Wanted to celebrate the start of the weekend! The closer spring break gets the more anxious I am to be done with classes, at least for a week.

I thought I'd show my old glasses some love, plus I think they went well with the geometric shapes on my top. The pink of my pants brought out the pink sparkles in my glitter shoes too. Match made in heaven.

My hair is a twist out with curlers on the end (from those same cheetah print soft curlers).

OOTD: Anchors Away

So instead of continuing my break I'm just going to change my posting schedule. Bare with me while I work to find something that fits. For now expect OOTD to be posted the day after I wear them (with the exception of Friday), this one for example was yesterdays outfit.

I'll still find a way to stay connected, but my focus is school at the moment. As many of you are students I image you understand my plight.

In the struggle to stay warm I've found that excessive layering is my best friend. Honestly, shirts on shirts on shirts.

OOTD: MODitude

TGIF! Really.

As the weeks go by I'm more and more grateful for Fridays and the weekends. I'm not sure if I'm just not getting enough sleep or if it's my body telling me I'm not as young as I used to be. But I'm simply exhausted by Thursday.

It's funny how just on Wednesday my hair and outfit gave me a 50's/retro vibe but the same hair today makes me think 60's Mod looks. Maybe it's the turtleneck.

OOTD: Tribal Marks

TGIF!!! Seriously! Longest short day every. I was super tired this morning, I don't even know why. But glad  this week is over.

For today's look I paired this cropped tribal (for lack of a better description) sweater with my disco pants. I  topped it all with my over sized jean jacket and a two tone infinity scarf I knit forever ago.

OOTD: Crisp in Coral

Happy Sunday!

The week has begun on a fabulous note. Last night we launched our store BLCKGLD Clothing (you can visit my clicking the link or by clicking the tab above). I'm super happy and excited for where it'll go.

Today I wore a lace coral midi length skirt with a cream chiffon top and the pièce de résistance (the best part) was my sweater. I absolutely LOVE this sweater, I guess you would describe it as a tribal or aztec print. Regardless I love it and the colors in it. I polished my black distressed (JC) Lita's this morning too. It was like breathing new life into them, they look great.
