Out Like a Lion...

"Spring" is here, not that you would be able to tell especially when it just snowed last night/this morning.

Sigh, living in the Midwest. Anyway despite the bipolar weather I've managed to squeeze in some "spring" friendly attire over the past two weeks.

I wore my hair out this week. It was fun playing in it, but I"m back to protective styles.

Sidenote: I've obviously been gone, but I'm definitely still alive just ultra busy. I'm not sure why I haven't posted most of these pictures, especially since I take them with enough time to upload. But I'll try and do better, I might revert back to my outfits of the week format.

Spring Break

My friends and I took a trip to Chicago last weekend and had a BLAST!!! We'll be going back soon! Didn't take as many pictures as I would've liked, too busy having fun. But next time.

Here are some of the shots that I got.

Have't decided if I'll put up a post of the things I bought while there, so enjoy this in the mean time.

Dinner was delicious! And so were the left overs.

OOTD: Paint Strokes

Hey this week is almost over. I can already feel the breeze from Lake Michigan on my face!

I haven't worn these pants (except for in my lookbook here) so I thought I'd take them out for a spin.

I found it kind of strange that people were giving me odd looks because of them. It's a print, relax. To each his own I guess.

Top: Target, I think it might be from the maternity section.
Pants: H&M
Shoes: Aldo
Watch: MK

It's about to get REAL!

OOTD: Tartan you Glad it's not Plaid

Hey guys,

I had a really good weekend, which I was lucky enough to have transition into a really good Monday. Hope you can say the same! Can't wait for it to get warmer so I can take some shots outside.

While taking pictures someone asked if i was taking modeling pictures for American Eagle, I laughed. Anyway, I went all out for this preppy look.

When I got this sweater I immediately fell in love with the TARTAN pattern. Yes, Tartan, after doing some research, Tartan is the pattern (Scottish families often have their own design) while a PLAID is the garment made from the fabric with the Tartan pattern on it. The two terms are synonymous here in the States though, but hope that clears things up.
